West Lothian site manager wins housebuilding 'Oscars' award

Ewan Maclean, site manager at David Wilson Homes' Marina Way development in Winchburgh, West Lothian, has been named among the UK's top housebuilding professionals after winning a prestigious award at the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards – often deemed the 'Oscars' of the housebuilding industry.

Rigorous judging process

Maclean is among a select group of site managers nationwide to receive the accolade following a rigorous judging process involving thousands of inspections. The award recognises exceptional standards in site management, leadership and build quality, highlighting the crucial role site managers play in delivering high-quality new homes safely, on time and to the highest standards.

With site managers passing on their skills to their teams and mentoring assistant site managers, the awards help drive up quality standards across the industry.
