Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced a new artificial intelligence tool designed to assist job seekers, which the government has dubbed a 'jobcentre in your pocket'. The announcement was made during a speech at the start of London Tech Week.
What the AI Tool Offers
According to Starmer, the AI assistant will operate 24/7 and help individuals who are out of work find suitable jobs, create professional CVs, and ultimately re-enter the workforce. The tool is set to be trialled online for a period of three months.
