Rutherglen Man Becomes Construction Manager at Persimmon

Jack Sloss, from Rutherglen, has been appointed construction manager at Persimmon Homes West Scotland, continuing his rapid rise in the housebuilding industry after leaving the Royal Navy.

New Role and Responsibilities

In his new role, Jack is responsible for supporting construction delivery across Persimmon's West Scotland region, which spans from Ayrshire to Lanarkshire. He will work closely with teams on developments, helping deliver energy-efficient homes while maintaining the company's focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Career Journey

Jack's career began as an engineer in the Royal Navy in Portsmouth before he returned to South Lanarkshire and entered construction. He joined Persimmon in 2020 as an assistant site manager, was promoted to contracts manager in 2023, and stepped into his new role in July.

Jack said: "I’m delighted to take on this new role and continue my journey with Persimmon.
