Newcastle City Council is to hold a series of free job roadshows in September, hiring across a range of different sectors and roles. Those thinking about future employment are welcomed to attend the free roadshows to discuss further the jobs on offer.

Meet council teams and explore careers

The series will take place in venues across the city, giving people the chance to meet Newcastle City Council teams, find out more about the jobs available and ask questions about working for the council.

A wide range of different careers are on offer with those attending able to chat directly with colleagues from areas including Health & Social Care, Parking Services, Contact Centre & Customer Services, Facilities Services and more.

Roadshow dates and venues

The recruitment roadshows will take place at:

  • Riverside Community Health Project, Carnegie Building, Atkinson Road, NE4 8XS - Monday 14 September - 10am–12pm
  • Newcastle City Library, Bewick Hall, 33 New Bridge, NE1 8AX - Wednesday 16 September - 10am–12pm
  • Walker Activity Dome, Wharrier Street, NE6 3BR - Thursday 17 September - 10am–12pm
  • Galafield Family Hub, Newbiggin Lane, NE5 1LZ - Friday 18 September - 10am–12pm
