Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny Named Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artists of All Time

Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny have been crowned the most-streamed artists of all time on Spotify, nearly two decades after the platform’s inception. Swift was named the top artist on the 'Spotify At 20: The Most Streamed Music, Podcasts, and Audiobooks Of All Time' list, following a momentous year that included the release of her 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl. The album topped the UK charts and was declared the best-selling global album of 2025 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

Swift’s 2025 release marked her first since announcing her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce in August, a year that also saw her regain control of her back catalogue in May. Her single 'Opalite', reportedly inspired by Kelce, soared to number one on the UK singles chart, with a music video featuring cameos from fellow guests on The Graham Norton Show, including Cillian Murphy, Lewis Capaldi, and Domhnall Gleeson.

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, secured the top spot on the most-streamed albums list with his 2022 record Un Verano Sin Ti. He enjoyed a triumphant year, releasing his sixth studio album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos, winning album of the year at the Grammys for a record sung entirely in Spanish, and headlining the Super Bowl half-time show, which became the fourth most-watched performance in the United States.

Following these two titans, The Weeknd ranked as the third most-streamed artist, Canadian rapper Drake was fourth, and Ariana Grande secured fifth. The Weeknd also dominated the most-streamed albums list with Starboy at number two, After Hours at number five, and Beauty Behind the Madness at number 20. Ed Sheeran’s Divide Deluxe album completed the top five at number three, while Olivia Rodrigo’s debut Sour placed fourth.

In singles, The Weeknd’s 'Blinding Lights' topped Spotify’s most-streamed songs of all time, followed by Ed Sheeran’s 'Shape Of You' at number two, The Neighbourhood’s 'Sweater Weather' at number three, The Weeknd’s collaboration with Daft Punk 'Starboy' at number four, and Harry Styles’s 'As It Was' at number five. Beyond music, The Joe Rogan Experience was named the most-streamed podcast, while Sarah J Maas’s novel A Court of Thorns and Roses became the most-streamed audiobook in premium.
