Hall, 21, has impressed for Newcastle this season and could be available for around £55m, especially if the Magpies fail to qualify for European competition. Tonali, 25, is valued at £100m by Newcastle and is also attracting interest from Arsenal and Manchester City. United see the Italian as the ideal long-term replacement for Casemiro.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford's future remains uncertain after a successful loan at Barcelona, who have a £26m purchase option. However, Barcelona may prioritise a new striker over making the move permanent, potentially opening the door for Rashford's reintegration at Old Trafford under Carrick.
Another possible target is Chelsea's Cole Palmer, who may seek a move if the Blues fail to qualify for the Champions League. Chelsea have lost their last six Premier League matches, and Palmer was linked with United in January before being deemed untouchable.
