Fans expressed disbelief that former Top Gear host Clarkson, also 63, did not top the list. One tweeted: 'I think @JeremyClarkson is the UK's richest TV presenter, he's certainly worth way more than Bradley Walsh. All three #thegrandtour presenters according to Google are worth over £40 million.'
However, the father-of-three bluntly replied: 'You’re forgetting Sir Attenborough.' David Attenborough, 97, is one of the highest-paid stars at the BBC, typically earning £1.1 million per year, and has a net worth of around £11.8 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Bradley Walsh's fortune is said to have increased by £3.5 million over the past year. A TV insider told the Daily Mail: 'Bradley really is at the top of his game right now and is raking it in. He's firmly established himself at the top of his profession and is the go-to man for both the BBC and ITV.'
Walsh currently hosts ITV's The Chase and its spin-offs, as well as Blankety Blank and Wheel of Fortune. He has also landed the hosting role on BBC One's reboot of Gladiators alongside his son Barney.
