Emmerdale star Danny Miller has confessed to having a 'man-crush' on former French footballer David Ginola during the first episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday night. The admission came after Ginola successfully lit a fire, following fellow contestant Richard Madeley's failed attempt.
Miller, 30, said of the 54-year-old: 'David Ginola is a bit of an icon to me. Still like so cool and good looking. I hope I look like him at his age because he is just fit isn't he?!' The pair were among five celebrities banished to 'The Clink', a new feature on the show where contestants who lose challenges are sent to a tiny space with minimal amenities.
Other campmates in The Clink included Arlene Phillips, Naughty Boy, and Richard Madeley. Miller described the space as 'basic' and said he 'didn't think it was going to be this bad'. Meanwhile, in the main camp, Frankie Bridge, Louise Minchin, Kadeena Cox, Matty Lee, and Snoochie Shy settled in, with Lee quickly lighting a fire and Cox cooking rabbit for dinner.
The first episode also saw Ant and Dec taking a walk near Gwrych Castle in North Wales ahead of the launch. The castle has been rumoured to be haunted, with ghost hunter Nick Stoppani claiming to have experienced paranormal activity there, including evidence of witchcraft and dark arts.
