British Gas has launched a prize draw offering one lucky customer the chance to win £16,410, which the company says matches the average UK household's gas and electricity consumption for a decade. The 'Win Your Bill' competition began on Tuesday, June 2, and will run until June 30.
Members who enter the draw can also participate in other opportunities, including money off boiler repairs and deals on Hive products. So far, three members have won a year's worth of energy, and 1,000 customers have had their monthly bill covered.
Mark Berryman at British Gas said: 'At a time when household bills continue to be a significant expense for many, we know people are looking for practical ways to save and we believe this could make a real difference.' He added that the company has helped customers save over £2 million since launching British Gas Membership last year.
The free British Gas membership was introduced in 2025, with over £2 million in discounts and prizes offered so far this year. Customers can enter the draw via the British Gas membership portal.
