Arsenal Fans Face £130,000 Box for Title-Clinching Match

The clamour to see Arsenal potentially win the Premier League title on Monday night could set some of their fans back by six figures if they wish to witness it in the flesh. The Gunners currently sit five points clear of second-placed Manchester City at the top of the table, although the latter have a game in hand.

Title Decider at the Emirates

Arsenal's final home game of the season is against already-relegated Burnley on May 18. That date is the earliest Mikel Arteta's side could be crowned champions, but that depends on City dropping points at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night and then Arsenal beating Burnley. For the Emirates Stadium encounter, tickets for that match are unsurprisingly sold-out. However, eager supporters can still be there in person by buying a corporate box.

Exorbitant Pricing for Corporate Hospitality

The only catch? The price at a staggering fee of more than £130,000. Arsenal fans could pay £130,000 for a box to watch Monday's Premier League clash vs Burnley. As detailed by The Times, there is a 15-seat box available known as the Executive Box N7 which starts from £100,000. The highest tier on the halfway line, its perks included a replica home shirt, food and drinks from a 'North Bank inspired menu', a personalised match-day programme and a meeting with an Arsenal legend.

'Step into your exclusive box and relax with your guests before kick-off, enjoying a North Bank inspired menu - featuring fresh starters, bold British mains, and crafted desserts - alongside inclusive drinks including champagne, wines, beers, and soft drinks,' the advertisement for the package reads. 'Throughout the day, you'll be looked after by your personal match-day host, with half-time and post-match light bites served inside your exclusive space.'

At the time of writing, the package has since been taken down from the club's website, but it was up there until Tuesday afternoon. The price of that box is in stark contrast to initial general ticket prices that were available for the game. Burnley returned 1,300 tickets for the match, and those spares were put on sale to Arsenal supporters by the latter. Those prices start at £44.80, or lower for concessions, juniors and seniors.
