The Pensions Commission has issued a stark warning that 15 million people in the UK are currently not saving enough for their retirement. This figure could escalate to as many as 19 million if no action is taken, according to the independent group of experts.
Widespread Under-saving
The commission highlighted that a staggering 45% of working-age adults are not contributing to a pension at all, despite nearly half of them being in employment. This trend poses significant risks for future retirement security across the nation.
