How to Watch Wimbledon 2026 on TV

The BBC remains the principal broadcaster, offering free coverage on BBC One, BBC Two, and BBC iPlayer. In a change from previous years, TNT Sports joins the BBC as the co-broadcaster for the singles finals, replacing Eurosport. Clare Balding will lead the BBC's presenting team, with analysts including Tim Henman, John McEnroe, and Martina Navratilova.

Most Centre Court and No. 1 Court tickets have already been allocated through the public ballot, which has closed. However, fans can still join the famous Wimbledon queue daily for a chance to purchase grounds passes or show court tickets. Those who secure a grounds pass can visit the ticket resale kiosk north of Court 18 to buy returned show court tickets.

Record Prize Money at Wimbledon 2026

A record total of £64.2 million in prize money will be distributed. The singles champion receives £3.6 million, the runner-up £1.8 million, semi-finalists £900,000, quarter-finalists £480,000, fourth-round players £300,000, third-round players £185,000, second-round players £126,000, and first-round players £80,000.

Wildcards Announced for Wimbledon 2026

Serena Williams, returning to tennis after a break, headlines the women's singles wildcards. The 23-time Grand Slam champion will also play doubles with her sister Venus. Other women's wildcards include French Open runner-up Maja Chwalinska and British players Harriet Dart, Alicia Dudeney, Hannah Klugman, Mika Stojsavljevic, Katie Swan, and Mimi Xu. In the men's singles, five British players received wildcards: Jacob Fearnley, Arthur Fery, Jack Pinnington Jones, Toby Samuel, and Harry Wendelken. The remaining two wildcards went to Grigor Dimitrov and Stan Wawrinka.

Order of Play and Daily Schedule

The official Order of Play will be released each evening at approximately 6pm, subject to change, and can be found on Wimbledon's website. Gates open at 10am daily, with play on outside courts starting at 11am, No. 1 Court at 1pm, and Centre Court at 1.30pm.
