Wetherspoons Brings Back Brunch Burger for Father's Day

JD Wetherspoon has confirmed a Friday menu change across its pubs in June to celebrate Father's Day. The popular chain is bringing back its Brunch Burger for one weekend only, from Friday, June 19, to Sunday, June 21, at locations across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Limited-Time Offer

Customers have just a three-day window to enjoy the mammoth burger, with its return coinciding with Father's Day on June 21. The Brunch Burger features a 100% British beef 6oz patty, American-style cheese, maple-cured bacon, a free-range fried egg, and a hash brown made from 100% British potatoes.

The burger meal includes chips, six beer-battered onion rings, and a drink, with more than 150 beverage options to choose from.

Gourmet Burger Range

The Brunch Burger joins Wetherspoon's new gourmet burger lineup, which includes the Cheese Meltdown, Big Smoke, Buffalo, and BBQ Stack. All burgers are made with 100% British beef, freshly cooked to order, and traceable from farm to fork.

Gourmet burgers are priced at £10.19 with a soft drink or £11.72 with an alcoholic drink in most pubs (The Empire State is £11.65 with a soft drink and £13.18 with an alcoholic drink). Each meal comes with six beer-battered onion rings, chips (or a side salad on request), and a drink.

Children's Menu and World Cup Offerings

For families, Wetherspoon's award-winning children's menu is available from £4.99, including a drink and a food option. The Father's Day menu coincides with special food and drink offerings for the World Cup. Customers can enjoy international drinks from competing teams, and food is served until 11pm.

Most Wetherspoon venues will show World Cup matches live, though a few without TV screens are excluded. The chain stated: "Wetherspoon's pubs will be showing the World Cup. So, wherever your local is, you won't miss out on the events in the world's biggest football event."

They added: "Enjoy the World Cup with a selection of international drinks, many hailing from the same countries as the teams competing. Why not try something different? With food served until 11pm, it's a good chance to try the food menu, including 3 for £15 on small plates. Download the Wetherspoon app for table service, or scan the QR code on the table. Join us and watch live."
