Wembley Stadium has confirmed a rule change allowing refillable plastic water bottles and providing free sun cream for Harry Styles' concerts during a scorching heatwave. The Met Office has issued a rare red warning as temperatures are set to soar to 38°C in parts of southern England and southeast Wales.
Water Bottle Policy Relaxed
Empty soft-plastic bottles up to 500ml, with tops removed, can be brought into the stadium and refilled at free water stations located on all levels, including the pitch. Additional water points have been set up on the external concourse between turnstiles G&F, J&H, M&N, and B&C. Metal water bottles remain prohibited for safety reasons, though the policy may be relaxed in extreme circumstances. A Wembley spokesperson told Metro: 'Our traditional policies around water bottles have been relaxed for the past few events as temperatures have risen, and we would encourage guests to bring plastic bottles as per above and refill them inside the stadium.'
Free Sun Cream and Health Advice
Free sun cream is available at all information points. Extra signage around the venue reminds fans to hydrate regularly and take breaks in the shade. Overnight camping is not permitted; fans are advised to queue for general admission on the day of the show.
Harry Styles' Running Antics
Over the weekend, Styles was spotted jogging to his third Wembley show from his Hampstead Heath mansion, approximately 10km away, wearing a jumper despite the heat. He ran the Berlin Marathon under a pseudonym in 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 13 seconds. Fans reacted on social media: '@goldenrryhrry wrote: 'only harry would run to his own stadium concert in 30+ degrees outside... i really admire his strength.' @finelineclarke added: 'he's so random like wdym THE harry styles runs to work to Wembley.'
Concert Schedule and Lineup
Styles' 'Together, Together' residency at the 90,000-capacity venue began on June 12 and runs until July 4. During the heatwave week, he performs on Tuesday, June 23 (forecast 37°C), then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (33°C). Support act Shania Twain starts at 6:55pm, followed by Styles at around 8:15pm, with fireworks at 10:30pm. The London leg is expected to attract 1.08 million fans.
