Thousands of people are set to descend on the North Wales seaside town of Rhyl for what organisers describe as the biggest Pride event yet. The annual celebration, taking place on Saturday, June 20, aims to showcase the town at its very best.
Event Details
The festivities will be spread across three venues: Ellis Vaults, The Local, and The George. Each venue will host its own programme of entertainment and activities throughout the day. The main stage at Ellis Vaults will be hosted by The Royal Serenity, while Hannah Poppey will lead events at The Local, and Jodie Fletcher will host activities at The George.
Venue manager Kyran Jones said Pride events play an important role in bringing communities together and promoting acceptance. He added that organisers hope the celebration will showcase Rhyl and everything the town has to offer.
Entertainment Line-Up
A diverse line-up of performers has been confirmed, including Noisewave, Ella-Grace, Britain's Got Talent finalists Han & Fran, the Royal Serenity Queens, and Sarah Price. Away from the stages, visitors can enjoy stilt walkers, fire dancers, and live party anthems in the beer garden, creating a lively atmosphere across the town.
Family-Friendly and Free
Organisers have emphasised the event's family-friendly nature. Children are welcome at both Ellis Vaults and The Local from 12pm until 7pm, allowing families to take part in the celebrations. Entry to the event is completely free for all attendees, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to join in and enjoy the festivities.
Thousands of residents and visitors are expected to attend. Organisers hope the event will bring colour, music, and positivity to Rhyl while also supporting local businesses and boosting the town centre.
