ITV's quiz show Time is Money, hosted by Sara Davies of Dragons' Den and Strictly Come Dancing fame, is reportedly being axed after only one series. TV Zone reported that the programme will not return for a second season following its premiere on 1 January 2026.

The high-stakes game saw contestants begin each round with potential winnings, which decreased with hesitation or incorrect answers. Davies praised the show on her website: "What I love most about Time Is Money is the energy. It's quick, it's intense, and it's full of those make-or-break moments where staying calm under pressure really matters - something I know a lot about!" She added: "This show is exhilarating, unpredictable, and packed with drama and I know audiences at home will be shouting at the telly, willing contestants to beat the clock."
Other ITV show cancellations
While Time is Money is not expected to return, all episodes of the first season remain available on ITVX. ITV, home to hits like The Chase, Tipping Point and Lingo, has also reportedly cut The Summit, a high-budget competition hosted by Ben Shephard. Launched in February 2026 in a prime-time weekday slot, The Summit was reportedly dropped after viewing figures fell short. The eight-episode series followed 14 strangers attempting to climb one of New Zealand's tallest peaks for a £200,000 prize.
