There were no jackpot winners in tonight's National Lottery Lotto draw, meaning Saturday's estimated jackpot now stands at £3.8 million. The draw, which offered a £2 million top prize, took place as part of a new two-round format introduced today.
The winning Lotto numbers for Round 1 were 1, 12, 25, 29, 40, 41, with bonus ball 16. For Round 2, the numbers were 2, 5, 12, 42, 47, 54, and bonus ball 51. The Thunderball draw saw numbers 1, 8, 12, 14, 24 and Thunderball 10, with no top prize winner either.
Smaller prizes were awarded: six people won £6,500 each in Lotto Hot Picks, and two people won £5,000 each for matching five main Thunderball numbers. Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: 'As no one has won tonight's £2M jackpot, Saturday’s draw will have an estimated £3.8M jackpot on offer.'
The new Lotto format features two sets of six main balls and a bonus ball drawn from separate machines, giving players two chances to win from a single line. The odds of winning the Lotto jackpot are about one in 45,057,474, while Thunderball top prize odds are one in 8,060,598.
