The BBC crime drama The Woman in the Wall, originally aired on BBC One in 2023, has been added to Netflix and is already climbing the most-watched charts. The six-part series stars Ruth Wilson as Lorna Brady, a sleepwalker who wakes up to find a dead woman in her home.
Plot and cast
Detective Colman Akande, played by Daryl McCormack, arrives from Dublin to investigate an unrelated murder of a priest, and their paths soon cross. As the mystery unfolds, Lorna's past as a survivor of a Magdalene Laundry is revealed, including how her baby was taken from her.
Wilson is known for The Affair, His Dark Materials, and Luther. McCormack is remembered for Bad Sisters, The Lesson, and Peaky Blinders.
