Cleaning experts behind the TikTok account @thecleaupcompany claim that washing up liquid is the only product needed to achieve "shiny" and "streak-free" windows in just 15 seconds. The method also helps keep condensation at bay, according to commenters.
The Simple Method
In a video, the cleaner demonstrated on windows with a "couple of marks" on them. They applied washing up liquid to a damp microfibre cloth and rubbed it across the entire window. The liquid was then buffed away with a dry microfibre cloth, leaving behind what the cleaner described as "brilliant" results.
"Oh my god, this is the best cleaning hack ever. So to clean windows, you don't need no window cleaner, all you need is Fairy Liquid (washing up liquid) - it's literally incredible," they said. "It's absolutely incredible. I won't ever use standard window cleaner again because this just works. Streak-free. Look how fast it works."
