Tesco is recalling Tesco Finest Mozzarella Pearls & Pesto Orzo Salad 215g due to possible contamination with E. coli. Symptoms associated with this infection include diarrhoea, stomach pain, vomiting and occasionally dehydration.
The product details are as follows: Pack size: 215g, Use by: August 25, 26 and 27, 2026. If you have purchased this product, do not consume it, and return it to your nearest Tesco store for a full refund.
However, if you have consumed it and are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above, you should remain at home until you have been symptom-free for at least 48 hours to prevent spreading the infection to others.
Chicken Wraps Sold in Iceland
A range of chicken sandwiches supplied by Summit Foods and sold in Iceland have also been recalled due to potential E. coli contamination.

If you have purchased any of these products, do not consume them. Instead, dispose of the item and send proof of purchase to sales@summitfoods.co.uk, stating when and where it was bought, for a refund.
Sand Art Activity Kit Recalled Over Asbestos
A children's sand art activity kit available on Amazon and eBay has been urgently recalled due to the possible presence of asbestos. The brand on the box is Colour Day Fairtrade Wholesale UK Limited, with product code 8929/Sand-12.
Asbestos is a banned substance as it presents a health hazard even at low levels of exposure, meaning this product fails to comply with the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011. The item has been recalled from consumers by the importer, Fairtrade Wholesale UK Limited, and online platforms eBay and Amazon.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) advises that owners stop using this product straight away and keep it out of the reach of children, wearing gloves and a mask when disposing of it. You may return it to the point of purchase for a full refund.
Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water
It has been identified that certain batches of the cleanser may be microbiologically contaminated, which could lead to eye inflammation. The affected products are from the brand Simple, in sizes and batch codes: 200ml (610041, 611641, 615941), 400ml (611141, 611341, 611441, 613341, 613441, 614541, 614741, 614) and 730ml (613841, 613941, 611041, 616641, 616741).
The products were on sale at various retailers including Home Bargains and Boots. Unilever has withdrawn them from store shelves and issued a recall from customers. Anyone who has purchased any of these products should contact their retailer for instructions on obtaining a full refund.
