Tesco is offering free ice lollies to more than a million Clubcard customers this week as part of its Freebie Thursdays promotion. Selected customers will find a digital voucher in the coupon section of their Tesco app, valid until midnight on July 1.
How to Claim Your Free Ice Lolly
To claim the freebie, Clubcard members must check the coupon section of their Tesco app. The voucher can be redeemed in both large Tesco stores and Tesco Express outlets, but not online. The offer includes 11 different Tesco ice lollies.
Freebie Thursdays: A Weekly Treat
Every Thursday, Tesco releases new freebie coupons, but not all customers receive one each week. Recipients are selected based on their past shopping habits. Previous freebies have included Walkers crisps and packs of Tesco cookies.

New Clubcard for 16-17 Year Olds
Separately, Tesco has introduced a digital Clubcard for 16 and 17-year-olds, opening up access to Clubcard Prices deals for approximately 1.6 million younger customers. Previously, Clubcard was only available to those aged 18 and over. The new digital card is accessible through the Tesco app or website, but teenagers must be invited by a parent or guardian from their Clubcard account.
How Tesco Clubcard Points Work
Shoppers earn one Clubcard point for every £1 spent in stores, or one point for every two litres of fuel at Tesco forecourts. Additional points can be earned through Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile. For example, five points are awarded for every £4 spent using a Clubcard Credit Card at Tesco, or one point for every £8 spent elsewhere. Tesco Mobile customers earn one point per £1 spent on pay monthly bills or top-ups. A minimum of 150 points is needed to redeem a voucher worth £1.50 in store. Points can be doubled or tripled in value when used with Rewards Partners such as Pizza Express, Alton Towers, or Hotels.com.
