Tesco shoppers can use their Clubcard points to get a Merlin Annual Pass for as little as £69.50, saving up to £70 on the standard price. The pass grants entry to more than 20 UK attractions, including Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, LEGOLAND Windsor, and SEA LIFE Aquariums.
How the deal works
Clubcard points double in value when exchanged for reward partners, so 50 points (worth 50p in-store) become £1 towards a Merlin Annual Pass. The cheapest pass costs £139, meaning shoppers need just £69.50 in vouchers to cover the full cost. Any remaining balance can be paid by another method.
Customers must have at least 150 points to request a voucher. Points collection periods end in May, August, November, and February, and vouchers cannot be requested for two weeks before each period ends.
Pass options and restrictions
Three pass tiers are available: Essential (£139 in vouchers), Gold (£239), and Platinum (£299). Restriction dates apply – for example, Essential and Discovery passes cannot be used on Saturdays in August or over the August bank holiday weekend.
A single day ticket to Alton Towers costs from £68 on the door for anyone over 90cm tall, though buying online can cut the price by up to 50%. For a family of four, a single trip can cost between £136 and £272, making an annual pass good value for regular visitors.

Clubcard points also double in value at Eurocamp, easyJet Holidays, P&O Cruises, and restaurant chains including ASK Italian, Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny's, Zizzi, Las Iguanas, and PizzaExpress.
