Tesco Clubcard doubles EV charging points at 680 UK sites until December 31
Tesco Clubcard doubles EV charging points at 680 UK sites

Tesco Clubcard members who drive electric vehicles can earn double loyalty points when charging at more than 680 locations across the UK, but the offer ends on December 31.

The promotion, which began on November 1, gives Clubcard holders two points for every £1 spent when charging via the Be.EV app or RFID card. To qualify, customers must link their Tesco Clubcard to their Be.EV account.

How the double points offer works

Be.EV became a Clubcard points partner in August, allowing members who link their Tesco Clubcard to the Be.EV charging app to earn one Clubcard point for every £1 spent at any Be.EV charger across the UK. For a limited time, that rate is doubled.

Be.EV operates more than 2,500 charging bays at more than 680 sites across the UK, including a number of Tesco Express sites with Be.EV rapid chargers installed. Drivers do not need to charge at these Tesco sites to benefit, as the reward applies to any site on the network.

Collecting and using Clubcard points

Clubcard points can be collected at every Be.EV charger, including ultra-rapids and off-peak sessions. The firms say these points can be converted into Clubcard vouchers for money off shopping at Tesco or with Clubcard's more than 100 reward partners, some of which offer triple value.

To set up, customers open the Be.EV app, sign in or create a Be.EV member account, go to the Account section and select “Link Tesco Clubcard Account”. After following the on-screen steps, points are collected automatically on eligible completed charging sessions.

Clubcard points, vouchers, and rewards can be tracked in the Clubcard section of the Tesco app. The loyalty scheme is free for a standard account. Full terms and conditions of the promotion are available on Be.EV's website.
