Sainsbury's has brought back its Taste the Difference promotion, with Nectar cardholders able to save 25% across more than 600 products in the supermarket chain's premium range. The retailer says the promotion has an even wider selection this year, and runs from Wednesday, September 23, until Tuesday, October 6.
New items and autumn flavours
New items included in the promotion are Taste the Difference Nduja & Hot Honey Girasoli 250g (now £2.60 with Nectar, £3.50 without), Taste the Difference Discovery Slowed Cooked Braised Beef Cheeks 615g (now £10.87 with Nectar, £14.50 without), and Taste the Difference Marry Me Chicken Pie 250g (now £3 with Nectar, £4 without).
Other popular options cover breakfast and brunch, fresh produce, and comforting dinners. Examples include Taste the Difference Fairtrade Colombian Coffee 227g (now £3.38 with Nectar, £4.50 without), Taste the Difference Easy Peelers 600g (now £1.69 with Nectar, £2.25 without), and Taste the Difference Slow Cooked British Beef Bourguignon 545g (now £6.07 with Nectar, £8.10 without).
How the discount works
James Campbell, Sainsbury's Director of Product & Innovation, said: “Autumn is a brilliant time to bring comforting flavours and fresh inspiration to the table. With carefully chosen ingredients and thoughtfully crafted recipes, Taste the Difference has become a household favourite for making every occasion feel special.”
He added: “With Nectar Prices, customers can save 25% across more than 600 Taste the Difference products, so it’s the perfect time to enjoy the quality they love or discover something new this season at great value.”
The promotion is available in selected supermarkets (not Sainsbury's Locals) and online. Nectar members need to scan their card at checkout, with discounts applied automatically if their Nectar and Sainsbury's accounts are linked, including for online purchases.
