As the UK braces for scorching temperatures over the Bank Holiday weekend, a popular tower fan has been reduced to £50.99, offering an affordable way to stay cool. The PureMate 43-inch Tower Fan with Remote Control, usually priced at £59.99, is on sale until May 26th.
The fan features three speed settings, an oscillating function, and three wind modes: normal, sleep, and baby. The sleep mode gradually reduces speed over 30 minutes for gentle cooling, ideal for overnight use. A timer can be set for up to seven hours, after which the fan automatically shuts off to save energy.
Its bladeless design makes it safe around pets and children, while the tall standing design ensures cool air reaches across beds or sofas without needing a table. The fan comes in black or white and includes a remote control for easy adjustments.
Shoppers on Amazon have praised the fan, with one calling it “quiet to fall asleep to but powerful enough to keep a room cool.” Another noted it “keeps the bedroom cool at night and doesn’t take up much room.” However, one reviewer mentioned it is “not as cold as a standard fan” and better suited for small spaces.
