Winner details

The Kent winner holds Bond number 664BF890888, purchased in February this year, with £21,000 invested. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight winner holds Bond number 491KF169443, bought in March 2022, with £49,850 in their account.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, said: "August has a whole new outlook for two Premium Bonds holders in Kent and Hampshire & The Isle of Wight, with Agent Million bringing the good news they have each won the £1 million jackpot."

He added: "With our jackpot winner from Kent only purchasing their winning Bond earlier this year, ERNIE reminds us that every £1 Bond has an equal chance of winning and that a visit from Agent Million could be just around the corner."

How Premium Bonds work

Individuals can hold up to £50,000 in Premium Bonds, and each £1 bond is entered into the monthly prize draw. Bonds must be held for one full calendar month to qualify. While statistically more bonds increase the chance of winning, it's not guaranteed.
