M&S customers told to open app today for free treat

Marks and Spencer is urging customers to open the M&S app today to claim a free treat. The retailer is surprising one million of its most loyal Sparks customers with a free chocolate bar as part of its ongoing loyalty rewards.

How to claim the free Sparks Bar

On Tuesday, August 4, selected customers will find an offer for a free 'Sparks Bar' in the M&S app. The retro-inspired chocolate bars, launched in July, are based on original St Michael archive designs and feature creamy milk chocolate, soft nougat, and caramel.

To redeem, customers need to visit the Sparks section in the app, activate the offer, pick up a bar in store, and scan their Sparks card at the till. The offer is valid for two weeks, giving plenty of time to visit a local M&S Foodhall.

Part of Sparks Tuesdays

The giveaway is part of Sparks Tuesdays, which offers new deals to all 24 million Sparks members every week, allowing them to earn money into their Sparks wallet. Terms and conditions apply.

An M&S Sparks spokesperson said: “What better way to make this Tuesday a little sweeter than with free chocolate? We’re surprising one million of our loyal Sparks customers with a Sparks bar which is one of our retro-inspired products, complete with its original St Michael packaging. It’s all part of Sparks Tuesdays, bringing our Sparks members fresh offers and more reasons to shop their favourites every week.”
