McDonald's has announced a series of menu updates for June, including a football-themed World Cup Meal and two new permanent McCrispy chicken burgers. The changes come as part of the chain's regular six-week menu rotation in the UK.
The World Cup Meal, priced from £9.29 for a medium Big Mac Meal, includes a collectable cup and is available with a Big Mac, nine Chicken McNuggets, or a McPlant. A new World Cup-inspired burger costs £9.19 and features two beef patties, cheese, bacon, crispy and grilled onions, lettuce, and sweet Carolina BBQ sauce. For chicken lovers, the Mexican Chipotle Chicken burger (£7.49) offers a crispy chicken breast with chipotle mayo, smoky sauce, slivered and crispy onions, lettuce, and white cheddar cheese on a football-shaped bun.
New sides include Crunchy Cheese Bites, filled with Gouda and mozzarella in a crispy breadcrumb coating, starting from £2.79. The fan-favourite McFlurry returns, with Galaxy Chocolate option staying, priced at £1.89 (mini) or £2.59 (regular). A new Matcha Green Tea Frappé (£3.69 for medium) blends matcha with vanilla, ice, and cream. Happy Meals get a World Cup makeover with Squishmallows plush toys in football tops.
Permanent additions to the menu include the Spicy McCrispy (£5.99 alone, £7.49 as a meal) with a crunchy chicken breast, iceberg lettuce, and creamy spicy mayo on a sourdough-style sesame bun. The Cheese & Bacon McCrispy (£7.09 alone, £8.59 as a meal) features black pepper mayo, cheese, bacon, and lettuce on the same bun. The Big Tasty has also returned with a quarter-pounder beef patty, priced from £6.29 (single) or £7.99 (double).
Breakfast sees the launch of Frank's RedHot Ketchup, with a Sausage & Egg McMuffin variant and a fiery Breakfast Wrap. These additions follow the earlier introduction of McGriddles in February and the Friends Meal.
