YouTuber's Three-Day Wetherspoons Challenge Leaves Him Stuffed but Wallet Happy

YouTuber Just Deano took on the challenge of eating only at Wetherspoons for three days and was shocked by the low total bill. Over the course of the challenge, he spent just £44.38, averaging £14.80 per day. Deano admitted it was physically impossible to eat three meals each day due to the large portions.

His first meal was a fry-up at The Richard Oastler in Huddersfield for £2.99, which he described as a decent, consistent breakfast. The highlight of the challenge was a festive pizza with turkey, stuffing and brie, costing £7.96 with a soft drink, which he called 'phenomenal'.

On day two, Deano started with fruit and yoghurt for £3.49, followed by a British beef and pancetta lasagne with salad and a soft drink for £6.97. His evening meal was a Christmas dinner with a pint of Guinness at The Cherry Tree for £12.52, but he found it underwhelming, criticising the tough carrots and parsnips.

On the final day, he had a shawarma chicken wrap and Monster drink for £6 at The Lord Wilson in Huddersfield, and a steak and ale pudding with a soft drink for £4.65. He praised the value, noting that a pint alone can cost £6.09 in other pubs.

Deano declared the festive pizza as the standout dish and encouraged viewers to check the specials menu. One viewer commented that it was 'great value', while another noted that not all Wetherspoons have specials.
