General admission tickets to Knowsley Safari have been reduced from £27.50 to £16.50 on selected dates throughout September and October, and new TopCashback members can secure them for as little as £1.09 through a cashback deal.
The Wowcher offer applies to selected dates, and the cashback rate is available only to people who are new to TopCashback. Existing members of the cashback platform will miss out on the £1.09 price but can still buy the tickets for £16.09 once cashback has been applied.
What the safari offers
Knowsley Safari, located in Prescot, Merseyside, is home to more than 700 animals, including lions, rhinos, bison, baboons, giraffes, meerkats and tigers. The Foot Safari includes the Tiger Trail, where visitors may see Amur tigers.
All general admission tickets are suitable for adults and children and include entry to every activity and ride operating on the selected date. The park also offers live animal talks and presentations throughout the day.
Other zoo options
Alternative days out include Blackpool Zoo, where tickets cost from £21.99 per adult when booked online, and Chester Zoo, which is offering tickets for groups of four from £99.
Visitor feedback
Reviews of Knowsley Safari are mixed. One visitor compared the experience favourably to safaris in South Africa, writing: "I have made several safaris in South Africa and this experience matches it on a hot sunny day. The only difference is the animals look happy and very healthy. A brilliant day was had by all and is one of the best experiences I have had in the UK."
Another said: "This place is absolutely brilliant, sealion show absolutely amazing with knowledgeable staff Baboon bus was absolutely amazing, walking safari was brilliant to lots of animals, well looked after we travelled over 100 miles and it was well worth it."
However, one less pleased visitor wrote: "Wow! What a disappointment. Been looking forward to going here for a while. But to be honest it’s a deer park with a few other animals thrown in. The rhinos were lovely to see, and the lions were fine, but that was about it."
