Most of us enjoy a sandwich by simply making one at home or often spending around £4 for a supermarket meal deal. However, one influencer has shared how he spent £14 on Harrods viral wrap to see if it was any good. Carmie Sellitto, known on Instagram as @touchdalight, is often seen trying out some of the world's most expensive food and giving his take on them. In one of his latest reels, he put the Harrods Buttermilk Chicken Mac and Cheese Wrap to the test.
The wrap recently became a viral sensation after the store's rotisserie section reopened in April 2026. Originally the food item was priced at around £12, however, it was recently updated to £14. This wrap is found in the Rotisserie section of the Harrods Food Halls. It features buttermilk fried chicken, truffle mac and cheese, house-made coleslaw, lettuce, and a blend of garlic aioli and other sauces. Reviewers on platforms like TikTok and Instagram often rate it highly (9/10 or 10/10), calling it a 'benchmark for taste' despite the price increase.
Giving his view on the item, Carmie is heard telling fans: 'I just picked up the new viral Harrods sandwich. It cost me £14, so let's head to my car and see if it's worth it.' He then added: 'It's so juicy. It kind of feels like I haven't eaten in days by the way I've just demolished half of this sandwich, but the chicken is so crispy, the mac and cheese is perfect, and the coleslaw is so crunchy.'
'I genuinely think you can not get a better sandwich in London than this one.' Giving his rating, he said he was 'gonna be so real' and give it a 10/10, as he said he was 'literally in love' with the sandwich. People were loving the post, with it racking up more than 6,000 likes.
One person wrote: 'Mmm that sandwich looks so good! If I lived in London I'd run right out and buy one!' Another commented: 'The size of that wrap, it's like an entire shopping basket in a wrap.' A third chimed in: 'It is lovely, had it many times.' While someone else tagged a friend, and wrote: 'I'm getting this when we are up there.'
While the £14 chicken sandwich is the current trend, Harrods is well-known for sandwiches at several price points. The luxury retailer's 'most expensive' option is the frequently mentioned £28 Wagyu Beef Sandwich, which has been frequently reported on. It contains Wagyu fillet, porcini and truffle butter, gold mustard mayo, mushrooms, and beer-braised onions on sourdough. Harrods Burgers also has an £18 Signature Club burger that includes roasted chicken breast, crispy bacon, avocado, and egg, served with crisps. Despite the pricier options, Harrods also has £8–£10 'budget' options, such as its Prawn Cocktail sandwich (£8) and Chicken Katsu Sando (£10). These are often cited as the best value-for-money choices in the Food Hall.
