GTA VI PS5 Pre-Order Drops to £52.37 as Netflix Unveils Preview

Grand Theft Auto fans can secure a copy of the upcoming instalment for a much lower price as Netflix drops the game’s first extended preview. The streaming giant teamed up with Rockstar Games to launch GTA VI: An Extended Look on Thursday (August 27), and to mark the occasion, gamers can pre-order the GTA VI PS5 edition with more than £20 off.

Pre-Order Deal Details

Ahead of its November 19 release, Argos is taking pre-orders for £67.99, but this can be reduced to £52.37 for shoppers with a TopCashback account. When joining this deals site, new members will receive a £15 sign-up bonus when spending £15 or more, plus cashback at Argos.

Combining these payments means GTA VI effectively costs £52.37 after cashback, saving £15.62 from the standard price. This discount can only be claimed by new TopCashback members who are new Argos customers, but new members who already shop at Argos can still claim a heavily reduced £52.71 after cashback.

Elsewhere, retailers like Amazon and GAME are taking GTA VI pre-orders for £67.95 and £69.99 respectively. The TopCashback deal comes as GTA VI: An Extended Look streams live on Netflix at 8pm BST on Thursday.

Extended Look and Game Details

When it was announced, Netflix said the preview would let subscribers see ‘more about the game that will define the next era of entertainment’. Fans could expect to see a deep dive into the game’s gameplay, story and the new Vice City map.

Following the launch, An Extended Look will also launch on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel at 2am BST on Friday (August 28). Here’s the official GTA VI synopsis:

“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida – forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

Console Bundle and How to Claim the Deal

For gamers needing to upgrade their console in time for November 19, EE is offering a PS5 Slim Digital Console and GTA VI bundle for £563 or from £21.08 per month. A caveat is that securing the lower price means committing to a 24-month contract.

To pre-order GTA VI for £52.37, shoppers should sign up to TopCashback, search for Argos and click ‘Get Cashback Now’, then shop and checkout as usual. Cashback will track and appear in the TopCashback account within seven working days of purchase. The cashback will become payable and available to withdraw and spend after Argos has paid TopCashback the commission for the purchase.

While reviews for GTA VI are still some time away, TopCashback customers have rated the brand highly on Trustpilot, awarding it an average rating of 4.6 stars. One said: “Easy to use, points add up over time and always nice to realise the points potential.” Another said: “TopCashback is reliable, easy to use and consistently delivers great savings. Tracking is smooth, payouts are fast, and the range of retailers is excellent.” Some find the payout process an ‘effort’, as this shopper said: “It was a real effort to try and withdraw money from my account. Not smooth at all.” While this five-star review says: “Really good, get cashback on everything and can transfer straight into bank or transfer to voucher.”
