A gambling firm has broken its silence after reportedly paying adult star Bonnie Blue £907,000 ($1.2 million) to name her baby 'BetBolt', insisting the two brands have "many things in common."
The offshore crypto and sports betting service won the naming rights in an auction held on TikTok, beating a shortlist that included Top G, Group Project and Clavicular. A spokesman for BetBolt, which operates out of the African island of Anjouan, said the money has been paid in full.
'Many things in common'
Speaking to Metro, the gambling site's spokesperson Leo gave a blunt explanation for the publicity move: "We feel our brands have many things in common. She quite literally f***s thousands of men physically and we f*** thousands of men financially."
He added: "Any true fan of hers is clearly vulnerable. It's the perfect opportunity to convert their porn addiction into a gambling addiction."
Leo said BetBolt was being "honest and blunt," viewing the purchase as a "marketing" opportunity, and that it was not afraid of alienating any of its customers, Metro reported.
Bonnie Blue's announcement
Bonnie Blue announced the result in a video, saying: "My auction's finished, and for $1.2million my baby is called BetBolt. I'm going to be shouting BetBolt across the playground."
She also insisted she planned to visit Westminster Register Office to officially register the name, but admitted she still had little idea who or what BetBolt actually is.
She said: "I still don't know what BetBolt do. I'm confused. Should I contact them? Should I say thank you? Are they going to be involved in my baby's life? Or are they just going to be because my baby is called BetBolt?"

Bonnie said she hoped BetBolt would reach out, as she had an appointment the following day at Westminster Register Office to officially name her baby.
