Domino's Offers Free Pizza If US Gets Red Card at World Cup
Domino's Free Pizza Offer Tied to US World Cup Red Card

Domino's Pizza is offering a unique consolation prize for US soccer fans during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If any player on the US men's national team receives a red card during the tournament, the company will give away $1 million worth of free pizzas to over 60,000 randomly selected winners.

How the Promotion Works

Fans must register on Domino's website by June 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET and be enrolled in the Domino's Rewards program to qualify. Each winner will receive a free medium two-topping pizza, redeemable until August 2, 2026.

"Soccer gurus know the worst thing to happen in a game is for a player on the team you're rooting for to receive a red card," said Kate Trumbull, Domino's executive vice president. "If that happens to the American squad, Domino's is here to ease the pain by giving away Emergency Pizzas. It may not change the outcome of the match, but it can provide a delicious pick-me-up when it's needed most."

Red Card Consequences

Red cards are issued for serious offenses such as misconduct, unsportsmanlike behavior, or violent actions. A player receiving a red card is immediately ejected from the game and cannot participate in the rest of the match. During the World Cup, they are also barred from starting in the next match.

Alternative Giveaway for Video Gamers

If the US team avoids red cards, Domino's will still give away 75,000 free Emergency Pizzas to players of EA Sports FC 26. Every Friday until June 5, 2026, the company will release unique promo codes in the game for randomly selected players to claim a free medium two-topping pizza.

"Maybe players loaded into EA SPORTS FC 26 on an empty stomach or perhaps their fridge is bare — whatever the reason, Domino's is here to provide the emergency assist," the company stated.

Merchandise and World Cup Details

Domino's also announced a limited-time line of co-branded merchandise with Saturdays Football, including jerseys, caps, and slides. The 2026 World Cup will be held across the US, Mexico, and Canada from June 11 to July 19.
