Time is running out for television fans hoping to take advantage of a rare Disney+ offer that undercuts both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The limited-time promotion allows new and returning subscribers to access the streaming service for £3.99 per month for the first three months, but only if they sign up by 11:59pm on Wednesday, May 6.
The deal applies to various plans, including Standard with Ads at £3.99, Standard at £6.99, and Premium at £9.99 for the initial three months. For comparison, Netflix's cheapest ad-supported plan costs £5.99 per month, as does Prime Video. After the promotional period, Disney+ subscriptions start at £5.99 per month.
Subscribers gain access to hit series such as Rivals, Only Murders in the Building, and The Bear, alongside content from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and Hulu. New titles include the Malcolm in the Middle reboot, The Testaments—adapted from Margaret Atwood's novel—and Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord.
It is worth noting that the Standard and Standard with Ads plans do not allow offline downloads, which may be a drawback for those who wish to watch content on the go. Premium enables streaming on up to four devices simultaneously.
Alternatively, viewers can bundle Disney+ with other platforms via Sky's Ultimate TV bundle from £24 per month, or EE's TV deal at £5 per month for the first six months, which includes NowTV, Netflix, and TNT Sports.
