Tesco Clubcard holders have just over a week to take advantage of a promotion offering Cineworld tickets for as little as £2.50. The deal, flagged by MoneySavingExpert (MSE), allows shoppers to convert Clubcard points into vouchers that double in value when exchanged for Cineworld codes.
Every 50p worth of Clubcard points becomes £1 when converted, enabling customers to buy up to four tickets for £5 on any day of the week until 31 May. Usually limited to Tuesdays, the offer now applies to all days, including weekends and the bank holiday. The minimum conversion is 50p, so even those with fewer points can benefit.
The tickets are valid for standard 2D screenings, with extra charges for premium formats such as IMAX, 4DX, or ScreenX. Customers can redeem their codes online or by showing them on their phone at the cinema. The deal is limited to four tickets per transaction.
Cineworld operates 90 cinemas across the UK and Ireland. Current screenings include titles like The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Sheep Detectives, and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. New releases arriving on 22 May include Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass. Some venues also offer anniversary screenings of Shrek, Legally Blonde, and Top Gun.
For specific screening times and locations, customers should visit the Cineworld website. The promotion ends on 31 May, so film fans are encouraged to act quickly.
