While the French Connection dress has been popular enough to sell out in some sizes, it only ranges from XS to XL. In contrast, M&S offers the Round Neck Pleated Midaxi Waisted Dress for £45, available in sizes 6 to 24 and three lengths. The M&S dress also has a drop waist, round neckline, and delicate pleats, making it a near-permatch.
