Amazon Driver's Hilarious Proof of Delivery Photo Features Customer's Dog
Amazon driver's delivery photo leaves dog owner in stitches

A dog owner was left utterly amused after checking the status of his Amazon order, discovering a delivery driver had used his pet as the star witness in a hilarious proof of delivery photo.

The Puzzling Delivery Status

The man had been tracking a much-anticipated parcel on Friday, 19 January 2026. He was initially baffled to see the status change from 'out for delivery' to 'delivered' while he was not at home. Fearing a missed delivery or a misplaced package, he investigated further.

A Furry Family Member Signs For It

His confusion quickly turned to laughter. The Amazon driver had provided photographic evidence of the successful drop-off, but the image featured the customer's own dog sitting dutifully next to the purchased items. Not stopping there, the resourceful driver had even amended the delivery details to read: "Delivered to a family member direct".

The charming image was later shared on Reddit, where it sparked a wave of humorous comments. One user suggested, "I hope you tipped him... in pets." Others pondered the logistics, with one asking, "I'd really love to know how they got the dog to sign for the delivery," and another joking, "I'm imagining the Amazon driver pulling out one of those ink pads and the dog signing the paper with his paw print."

A Dog With a Welcoming Nature

When discussing his pet's temperament, the owner humorously admitted to the Mirror that his dog's friendly nature might not make him the best guard dog. "He is so friendly he might just let a robber in and show him where all the valuables are," he said.

This incident follows a similar event involving Paul Conway, 61. He ordered sunglasses online, but his Labrador, Mazie, beat him to the door when the courier arrived. The proof of delivery photo captured the eight-year-old dog poking her head through the doorway and gazing up at the package in the courier's hand.

Paul, a married father-of-one who lives with his wife Jane, quipped: "It looks as though they are delivering it to my dog. I found it quite funny as all you can see is the dog looking up at the package." He clarified that despite the perfect picture, Mazie isn't yet trained to accept parcels, explaining: "The courier knocked on the door and my wife opened it to receive the package. But she was behind the door still so they just took a photo of our dog."
