Aldi has issued an important reminder about the deadline for this year's "Summer Support Scheme", with free £50 vouchers available every day until the end of the school holidays. The German supermarket chain, which has more than a thousand stores across the UK, warned that parents have less than one week left to apply for it.
How the scheme works
The scheme sees Aldi judges select seven entrants at random each week (excluding the first week of the Giveaway where Aldi said it would collect six) with each one winning a £50 Aldi voucher to spend in any of its stores in the UK. There are a total of sixty-two Prizes to be won during the Competition, which commenced at 00:01 on July 1, and closes at 23:59 on Monday, August 31, 2026, according to the Terms and Conditions. The last week's winners will be contacted by September 4, 2026.
Entries are open to residents of Great Britain (not Northern Ireland). Aldi says the voucher "can be spent on anything from fresh food and cupboard staples to household essentials and treats". To apply for the scheme, entrants need to submit their name and email address to SummerSupportScheme@aldi.co.uk.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: "The summer break can put extra pressure on family finances, with the cost of keeping children fed, entertained and active quickly adding up.
"With less than a week left of the school holidays, there's still time to apply for our Summer Support Scheme.
"We're giving away a £50 Aldi voucher every day until it ends, giving families a little extra help as they prepare for the new school year."
The scheme was launched last year and "forms part of Aldi's wider commitment to supporting families through initiatives that help customers access quality products at affordable prices," Aldi says. The supermarket also brought back its Mamia New Parent Fund early this year, "giving away £100 Aldi vouchers to parents every week for a whole year to support with the cost of everyday items after welcoming a new baby".
