Richard Kosala, a reseller who shares his charity shop finds on Facebook, purchased a complete Barbie DVD collection from a British Heart Foundation charity shop for £8. He sold it the same day on his Vinted account for £110, earning a £102 profit.

Kosala also posted a screenshot from his eBay account showing the same vintage DVD collection being advertised for between £160 and £260. Despite the higher potential, he expressed satisfaction with the £110 sale.
Other Resellers Share Similar Experiences
One commenter noted: 'Bought one of these at a general (live) auction about a year ago for £12 including fees. Turned out one disc was missing, tracked it down separately on eBay for about seven quid, slotted it in and got £109 cash from CEX.'
Several users admitted to owning the same collection. One remarked: 'I have this in my loft, was my daughter's, who's now 14, so at least 10 years old.' Another said: 'Wow. Our girls had that set. Definitely didn't get that much for it when we cleared out!'
