Morrisons, Tesco and Asda have each listed product recalls on their websites, covering food, fashion and toys. Recalls are typically issued over health and safety risks, with customers advised to return affected items to the store of purchase for a full refund. Sainsbury's currently has no recalls listed.
Morrisons recalls nuts and pesto
Morrisons has recalled its Savers Salted Cashews 125g with best before dates of 09/08/2026, 06/09/2026, 26/09/2026, 28/09/2026 and 09/10/2026, due to a risk that some packs may contain glass.
The supermarket has also recalled Filippo Berio Hot Chilli Pesto 190g with a best before date of 15/05/2028, because of undeclared fish on the back label.
Tesco recalls micellar water and salad
Tesco has recalled specific batch codes of Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water in 200ml and 400ml sizes. The recall is due to the possible presence of bacteria, which could cause eye inflammation for some customers.
Affected batch codes for the 200ml product are 610041, 611641 and 615941. For the 400ml product, the affected batch codes are 611141, 611341, 611441, 613341, 613441, 614541, 614741 and 614841.
Tesco has also recalled three date codes of its Finest Mozzarella Pearls & Pesto Orzo Salad 215g, due to the possible presence of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC), which can cause illness if eaten. The affected use-by dates are 25 August, 26 August and 27 August, and no other products sold at Tesco are affected.
