Nicole Locke, 33, has been sentenced to five years and six months in prison after pleading guilty to involvement in the supply of cocaine and crack cocaine. The case emerged from a police investigation into a drug line operating across the Rhondda region of Wales.
Police Raid Uncovers Cocaine in Kinder Egg
Officers from the serious organised crime unit identified a phone number linked to a drug line and traced it to Locke. In June 2026, they raided an address in Tonypandy, where they found Locke in a bedroom. Her mobile phone was seized, confirming the drug line number was registered to her device.
During the search, police discovered a white plastic bag containing white powder and £155 in cash. A search of Locke's car revealed an additional £180 in cash, another bag of white powder, and a Kinder Egg containing white powder. The total amount of cocaine seized was not disclosed.
Court Proceedings and Sentence
Locke pleaded guilty at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court to one count of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, one count of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, and one count of acquiring or using criminal property. She was sentenced to five years and six months in prison.
WalesOnline reported that Locke had previously pleaded guilty in 2025 to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Police Comment on Drug Line Impact
Following the sentencing, police constable Justyn Lewis said: "These illegal drugs have devastating consequences on the people further down the chain who end up using them, not to mention their family, friends and wider communities." He added: "We will continue to investigate any information you have which could relate to the sale or use of these drugs, including combating drug lines across the region."
