Psychic Wins £166,666 in Postcode Lottery After Tarot Prediction

Juliette Corvelli, 68, a retired pub boss from Tydd St Mary, Lincolnshire, won £166,666 as part of the Postcode Lottery's £1 million Millionaire Street prize. The mother of two had been reading tarot cards for weeks and sensed a major change coming, but did not anticipate a lottery win.

Tarot Readings Foreshadowed a Major Shift

Corvelli, who reads tarot cards regularly, said: "I read tarot cards a lot and I knew there was a big change coming. I was seeing it for a few weeks that something was changing in my life, and that it was good." She added that the cards indicated she would be "in the spotlight," which initially confused her. "It kind of gives you pointers, but doesn’t give you details. It’s about intuition and connecting with the cards. How they come out tells lots of different stories."

The clairvoyant described the prediction as "something bigger than normal," with "big cards showing a change of life." When the win materialised, she was "absolutely shocked" and said it would "take a while to sink in."

Winnings to Support Family and Health Needs

Corvelli, who suffers from osteoarthritis and has undergone three hip replacements, plans to use the money for practical needs and family treats. "I’ve got two daughters and a granddaughter and will treat them. A holiday would be nice. I definitely need practical things like a new bed and a fridge freezer, with plenty left over for a family trip and treating myself a bit," she said.

The winning postcode, PE13 5QH, was drawn for the weekly Millionaire Street prize, with all players in the area sharing the £1 million jackpot. Corvelli expressed happiness that her neighbours also benefited: "It’s very nice that everyone gets a share of it. It’s a very nice community and a nice place to live."
