Postcode Lottery Winners Across the North East
Residents in nine streets across the North East have each won £1,000 in the People's Postcode Lottery for the week of June 20 to June 26, 2026. The winning postcodes span North Tyneside, Sunderland, Northumberland, County Durham, and Teesside, with an additional top prize of £30,000 awarded to one street in Stockton-on-Tees.
The daily lottery, which allocates at least 33% of ticket sales to charity, announced the winners for the week ending Friday, June 26. The £1,000 prizes went to postcodes in Ferryhill (DL17 9LZ), North Shields (NE30 4AH), and Houghton-le-Spring (DH5 9RW), among others.
£30,000 Top Prize for Stockton Street
The standout winner was Ribblesdale Way in the Fairfield ward of Stockton-on-Tees, where residents with the postcode TS21 1GA each received £30,000. This windfall provides a significant boost to their finances, as noted by lottery organisers.
A spokesperson for the People's Postcode Lottery said: "We are delighted to see so many winners across the North East this week. The £30,000 prize in Stockton is a fantastic bonus for those residents."
Charity Contributions
The People's Postcode Lottery raises funds for various charities through its subscription model. Since its launch, players have contributed over £1 billion to good causes across the UK. Each ticket sold ensures a minimum of 33% goes to charitable organisations.
