Newcastle have been credited with interest in Brighton's Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari. The 22-year-old moved to the Seagulls from AIK in 2023 and has had spells on loan at Blackburn and Coventry. Ayari scored twice on his World Cup debut in the 6-1 win over Tunisia and made 32 appearances for Brighton last season. He could be the ideal Sandro Tonali replacement should the Italian leave this summer, but there is also interest from Chelsea in the midfielder, who is valued at around £25-30 million.
