The latest National Lottery Lotto draw takes place tonight, Wednesday, June 10, marking the first draw under a new format. Players now have two chances to win from a single line of numbers, with two sets of six main balls and a bonus ball drawn using separate machines. The price remains £2 per line, and there are still 59 balls. Draws continue on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Operator Allwyn states the chance of winning any prize improves from one in 9.3 to one in 4.9, and the number of Lotto millionaires is expected to double from around 140 to 345 per year. A jackpot of £5 million is available tonight.
Each play costs £2, with around £30 million raised weekly for good causes across the UK. Since the first draw on November 19, 1994, about half of ticket sales go to prizes, 28% supports good causes, and the remainder covers government duty (12%), retailers (5%), and operator costs (5%).
The Thunderball draw also takes place tonight, offering a top prize of £500,000. Entries close at 7.30pm, with tickets available online or at retailers. The Lotto draw occurs around 8pm, followed by Thunderball at around 8.15pm. Results will be updated live below.
