Jet2 has reminded passengers to bring their physical card on board to help keep its cashless onboard service running smoothly and efficiently. The airline states that accepting only card payments minimizes in-flight delays and streamlines the ordering process.
Payment Policy Details
In the “onboard service and conduct” section under payments, Jet2 explains: “To make our service as efficient as possible, we only accept card payments.” The airline urges travellers to bring a card, noting that contactless updates including Apple Pay and Google Pay have been introduced, but a physical card may be needed for chip and PIN transactions.
Alcohol and Smoking Rules
Passengers are also reminded that only alcohol purchased on board may be consumed during the flight, and smoking—including e-cigarettes—is strictly prohibited. Jet2 reserves the right to serve alcoholic drinks at its absolute discretion.
Disruptive Behaviour Consequences
The airline warns that disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. The aircraft captain has authority to refuse boarding or take action against anyone considered disruptive. Offenders may be required to indemnify Jet2 against any liability or loss and could be banned from future flights.
