Eight Welsh Streets Where Postcode Lottery Players Banked £1,000 Payouts
Eight Welsh Streets See £1,000 Postcode Lottery Payouts

Residents in eight Welsh streets have seen their bank balances boosted by £1,000 this month if they are Postcode Lottery players, with results announced from June 21 to June 26, 2026. The winning postcodes span Anglesey, Haverfordwest, Cowbridge, Ebbw Vale, Abergele, Welshpool, and St Dogmaels.

How the Postcode Lottery Works

The Postcode Lottery is a subscription-based lottery where players use their postcode as their ticket. For £12.50 a month, participants are entered into every prize draw, with guaranteed winners every day. Prizes include the weekly Millionaire Street prize and monthly £250,000 or Postcode Millions prizes. If a postcode is selected for the £250,000 prize, every ticket in that postcode wins £250,000. Daily £1,000 prizes are awarded to every ticket in 20 postcodes, and players with two tickets receive double the winning amount.

Charitable Impact

According to the Postcode Lottery, players have raised more than £1.8 billion for thousands of good causes in Britain and internationally, funding charities such as Maggie's, Alzheimer’s Society, Dogs Trust, Mind, NSPCC, and many small local community projects. A total of 33% of the ticket price goes to charities.
