An early-morning brawl involving dozens of shirtless men broke out in the Welsh seaside town of Barry on Sunday, July 26, at around 1:30am. The violence erupted on Broad Street, near Cardiff, after pubs and bars closed for the night.
Chaos on the Streets
Footage shared on social media shows bare-chested men throwing punches, with several ending up sprawled on the Tarmac. In one shocking moment, a man appeared to attempt to kick another in the head. Onlookers climbed onto parked vehicles to film the chaos, setting off car alarms. Voices can be heard shouting "stop it boys" amid the violence, but many bystanders simply watched.
Security staff were seen struggling to control the situation. South Wales Police confirmed officers were dispatched but the individuals had already left by the time they arrived.
Police Investigation
No arrests have been publicly confirmed. A South Wales Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Broad Street, Barry, following a report of an ongoing disturbance at around 1.30am on Sunday, July 26. Upon attendance, the group involved had left the area. Officers remained in the area as reassurance and enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
