Aldi Reintroduces Summer Support Scheme with £50 Vouchers for Families
Aldi Summer Support Scheme Returns with £50 Vouchers

Aldi has announced the return of its Summer Support Scheme for a second year, offering parents the chance to receive vouchers to cover everyday essentials during the school holidays. The scheme, which was launched in 2025, will see more than £3,000 worth of Aldi vouchers distributed over July and August, with one winner selected every day of the school holidays to receive a £50 voucher.

How the Scheme Works

Families can use the vouchers at any of Aldi's more than 1,080 UK stores. The retailer stated that the vouchers can be spent on whatever families need most, “from fresh food and cupboard staples to household essentials and summer treats.” Shoppers can apply by submitting their name and email address to SummerSupportScheme@aldi.co.uk.

Commitment to Affordability

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “The summer break can put extra pressure on finances, especially when it comes to keeping children fed, entertained and active during the holidays. As the UK's cheapest supermarket, we're committed to helping families make their money go further all year round, and this scheme is another way we're supporting parents during one of the most expensive times of the year.”

The initiative forms part of Aldi's wider commitment to supporting families through initiatives that help customers access quality products at affordable prices.

Related Initiatives

Earlier this year, Aldi brought back its Mamia New Parent Fund, giving away £100 Aldi vouchers to parents every week for a whole year to help with the costs of everyday items after welcoming a new baby. The vouchers can be redeemed to lessen the cost of nappies, wipes, toiletries, and even weekly groceries. The only product excluded is Stage 1 First Infant Milk, due to regulations preventing brands from using promotions that might discourage breastfeeding.

In an update in early June, the retailer said it has already gifted thousands of pounds in vouchers to parents across the UK since the initiative relaunched in January. New parents looking to apply for Aldi's Mamia New Parent Fund can email mamiaparentfund@aldi.co.uk with a receipt showing their latest Mamia purchase to be in with a chance of getting a voucher.
